Enter the campground to sparkling water views, golden sunsets, orchard strolls, shared meals, and cheeky visits from Wally the Weka.
You can book your bag drop off through Cougarline Water Taxi or Beachcomber Water Taxi, our camp manager will provide pick up/drop off service from Miner's Wharf
Yurts
Perfect for solo travelers, couples, families or groups, three of our cozy yurts features good beds, soft sheets, plush rugs, fairy lights, and a refreshing breeze. Two of our yurts are bunk room style, great for groups up to six. Reservations recommended (CLICK HERE), walk ins welcome if available.
Grandad's Cabin
Tucked among orchard trees beside a gentle creek, this cozy cabin offers a cool, peaceful place to unwind. Set it up with two singles or a king bed, open the window, and drift off to the sound of flowing water and a sky full of stars. Reservations recommended (CLICK HERE), walk ins welcome if available.
Tent Sites
The camping ground is a great option for people tramping and would normally stay at DOC campgrounds. There are no set sites, just pick a spot, first in first served. Walk ins welcome, reservations can book at the link (CLICK HERE),.
Campground
We are fortunate that one campground is set in our sheltered orchard providing some protection from the elements. The orchard is shared space with kitchen, lawn games, swings, bean bags, hammocks, board games, fishing rods and a kayak. We also have four yurts in the paddock next door, with seating plus closer to the toilet.
Orchard Yurt - King Bed
Our Orchard Yurt can be set up as a king-size bed, with bedding provided. Use the shared facilities. Maximum 2 persons for the King.

Grandad's Cabin - 2 Singles or King
Granddad's Cabin is the perfect location to sleep by the stream and dream under the stars in a cozy cabin retreat.

Tent Sites
Bring your own tent and pitch it in our sheltered orchard. There are no marked tent sites so you can pick the site that best suits you in a large grass area in our orchard. Plenty of shade under our orchard trees. Maximum 4 persons per tent.

Ruru Yurt/Family Yurt
Our Ruru Yurt/Family Yurt has a king bed and 2 single beds. and bedding is provided. Use the shared facilities. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children in these yurts.

Pukeko Yurt 4 Singles
Our Pukeko (4 Singles) with bedding provided. Use the shared facilities. Maximum 4 persons in this yurt.

Weka and Tui Yurt
Our Weka and Tui Yurt are basic, bunks or mattresses on the floor. Perfect for bigger groups. or an extra level of comfort away from natures elements.
- Weka has six mattresses only

Terms & Conditions
On arrival instructions will be provided on the camp ground Arrival Board at the entrance. The camp ground caretaker will come around to check on you.
Change/Cancellation Policy: (Applies unless stated otherwise)
Changes and
cancellations to bookings made up to 42 Days before the arrival date/time are
without charge. Thereafter the deposit may be charged. If no deposit is charged the total value of
the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 14
Days notice.
