Camping - Your Way.
As you enter the campground, you're greeted by sparkling water views and the golden glow of long sunsets. Wander through our orchards, enjoy lawn games with family and friends, or cook up a feast in the shared camp kitchen. Keep an eye out for the resident weka (named Wally!) - these curious locals love exploring the orchard and never fail to delight international guests with their cheeky antics.
Yurts
Whether you're a solo adventurer craving a good night's sleep or a couple looking for room to relax, our cozy yurt offers the perfect escape. Nestled in the orchards, it features soft sheets, a plush rug, fairy lights, and a cool breeze flowing through. Reservations recommended (CLICK HERE), walk ins welcome if available.
Grandad's Cabin
Tucked among orchard trees beside a gentle creek, this cozy cabin offers a cool, peaceful place to unwind. Set it up with two singles or a king bed, open the window, and drift off to the sound of flowing water and a sky full of stars. Reservations recommended (CLICK HERE), walk ins welcome if available.
Tent Sites
The camping ground is a great option for people tramping and would normally stay at DOC campgrounds. We are fortunate that the campground is set in our sheltered orchard providing some protection from the elements. The orchard is home to 16 types of fruit and nut trees and often in summer there is a bowl full in the cooking shelter for campers. There are no marked tent sites. You can pick the site that best suits you in a large grass area in our orchard. Walk ins welcome, reservations can book at the link HERE.
Orchard Yurt - 2 Singles
Our orchard yurt has two single beds. Use the shared facilities. Maximum 2 persons in these yurts.

Grandad's Cabin - 2 Singles or King
Granddad's Cabin is the perfect location to sleep by the stream and dream under the stars in a cozy cabin retreat.

Orchard Yurt - King Bed
Our Orchard yurt can be set up as a king-size bed and a bunk bed if requested. Use the shared facilities. Maximum 2 persons for the King and 4 if you add a bunk bed in this yurt.

- Beds: 1 King-size (Can add on bunk bed for families)
Tent Sites
Bring your own tent and pitch it in our sheltered orchard. There are no marked tent sites so you can pick the site that best suits you in a large grass area in our orchard. Plenty of shade under our orchard trees. Maximum 4 persons per tent.

Terms & Conditions
On arrival instructions will be provided on the camp ground Arrival Board at the entrance. The camp ground caretaker will come around to check on you.
Change/Cancellation Policy: (Applies unless stated otherwise)
Changes and
cancellations to bookings made up to 42 Days before the arrival date/time are
without charge. Thereafter the deposit may be charged. If no deposit is charged the total value of
the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 14
Days notice.
