Want to live the Eco Camp Life and enjoy the Endeavour Inlet All Summer?

Campground Caretaker - Seeking 2026-2027 Season

Dreaming of a summer in nature surrounded by beauty, community, and adventure? We're looking for an individual, couple, or small family to join us in the stunning Marlborough Sounds—living and volunteering at our boutique campground and accommodation along the Te Araroa Trail / Queen Charlotte Track.

Our 20-person campground sits in an orchard on a small lifestyle block at the head of Endeavour Inlet, a boat-access-only bay wrapped in native bush and sparkling ocean. Your days will include welcoming hikers and travellers, helping with light grounds maintenance, and enjoying a slower, more connected way of living.

Despite the remote setting, you won't be isolated. The area has a warm, friendly community and two nearby lodges (Furneaux & Punga Cove), plus the buzz of 5,000+ hikers and bikers passing through each summer. Yachts, fishing boats, water skiers, food tours, bikers and walkers fill the inlet with life—ensuring you're never short on company or adventure.

If you're craving meaningful work, real connections, and a genuine homesteading lifestyle on the ocean, this is your chance to make the Sounds your home for the summer.

This opportunity is for 15 September 2026 until 31 April 2027. Please email: stay@queencharlotteecocamp.co.nz
