Campground Caretaker
We are seeking an individual, couple or small family, to live and volunteer in the Marlborough Sounds this summer, maintaining and running a small and boutique campground and accommodation on the Te Araroa Trail / Queen Charlotte Track.
Set in an orchard on a small lifestyle block at the head on the Endeavour Inlet, a boat access only bay in the Queen Charlotte Sound, our 20 person campground requires grounds maintenance and guest hosting.
Although set in a remote, rural and bush clad location, there is a small community and two lodges (Furneaux & Punga Cove) in the area providing a great network and social opportunities, with 5k+ hikers passing through and stopping over the summer months. With yachts, fishing boats, water skiers, food tours, bikers and hikers you won't be short of entertainment, or interaction, while living a true homesteading lifestyle on the ocean.
This opportunity is for 15 September 2025 until 31 April 2026.
